test -- Unit-Grid Image-Map

List of scratch pages

This is a test page for applying an image map to the TBSF unit grid. Here goes:

Supporting info:

You post an image in an HTML blcok, and you add in the image attributes the "image-map" that goes with it. The latter is nothing more that attributing to a region of the image (defined in pixel-ranges) a URL and/or a title to appear. Check the code to see how it is done.

Paint.NET Plugin for creating image-map: http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/create-image-map-paintnet/ — Such a thing can also be created "manually", but this tool is pretty helpful. Just remember to drag the bounding-rectangles from the top/left —> bottom/right corner; dunno why, but it doesn't work otherwise.

Another guide for creating an image-map: http://www.yourhtmlsource.com/images/imagemaps.html

A java-app for resizing image-maps created for images in other sizes: http://blog.outsharked.com/p/image-map-resizer.html — (it just changes the "coords" attribute in the HTML code of the area item of the image-map) :

Note: On wikidot, there is no "ismap" attribute for images, so it works inside an html block.
